Ali Group Announces New Leadership Appointment at Welbilt

New Port Richey, Fla. – Kevin Clark has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Welbilt, an Ali Group subsidiary, effective immediately. Filippo Berti, the Ali Group's Chairman and CEO, made the announcement.

Clark assumes responsibility for managing Welbilt's portfolio of brands including Cleveland, Convotherm, Crem, Delfield, Frymaster, Garland, Kolpak, Lincoln, Merco, Merrychef, and Multiplex. These are supplemented by three service-oriented brands: KitchenCare (parts and aftermarket service), FitKitchen (integrated kitchen systems), and KitchenConnect (cloud-based digital platform).

The incoming executive brings nearly four decades of foodservice equipment industry experience. Clark began his career at Wasserstrom Company in 1984, followed by roles at Middleby Marshall and Wells Bloomfield. He previously held leadership positions at The Delfield Company and Standex Cooking Solutions Group. Since joining Ali Group in 2015 as President of Scotsman Ice Systems, he transitioned to President of ACP, Inc. in 2019.

"Kevin's experience in both the hot and cold segments of the foodservice equipment industry make him the ideal choice to take Welbilt into the future," said Berti.

The announcement also acknowledged Bill Johnson's previous service to Welbilt.
